Hey there - I'm a friendly, down to earth, athletic guy who is yet to find the right person. Looking for a reasonably well educated and normal person who isn't interested in head games to date and see where things go.

I've received a lot of advice about writing an online profile...everything from "be yourself" to "don't tell them how smart and awesome you are because you're intimidating." I'm not sure how having my life together, liking my job, having great friends, and taking long scenic rides is intimidating. I'm not perfect and don't really expect that anyone is. But I can promise that I'll never ask you if the pants I'm wearing make my butt look fat. I love my ice cream, and fresh baked cookies, but also am committed to staying fit and like to go to classes at the gym, go hiking, and be active.

So, why am I on here? Well, because I'm not married, not in a relationship, and would like to be. My dog, is great, but I'm not really into kissing him, not that he isn’t cute, but he really is a bad kisser…I hope to always enjoy my job, have a meaningful relationship, I also want to see the world and go to all 50 states. I've got a couple continents to get to and about 7 states. I also hope to one day figure out why we call it a “hamburger” when it has nothing to do with a pig, or why is “Lloyd” spelled with two “LL’s”

This site is suggesting that I talk about my taste in music. Yes. I like music. I like music I can dance to, I can sing to, do you like Brian McKnight? Well everyone tells me that I sound absolutely nothing like him, nope not even a little bit! But i can lift weights too. I don't like music when I'm on hold on the telephone. And yes, I do smoke but only when I’m on fire!
